About Dr. Triskel

I’m a Consultant Clinical Psychologist working mainly in the NHS in Bristol.
I manage the service and provide assessments and therapy at Outlook where we provide psychological support to people with visible differences / appearance concerns / disfigurements in the South West region as part of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service at North Bristol NHS Trust.

Until November 2009, I worked for 10 years as the Lead Psychologist with the Disabled Adults’ Resource Teams for Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, developing equalities-based support services for people with complex neurological and physical impairments.

I work as a Consultant Clinical Health Psychologist at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, where I work with people who have experienced trauma, people with cancer and other severe health conditions, people who are deciding whether to have surgery and people with persistent pain. I also provide supervision and training for other people who work with these clients.

I do a small amount of private work (see services). Some of the fees for this work help fund things like staff training at Outlook.
